About SciSpark Sheets
SciSpark Sheets is a free library of printable K-8 science worksheets. Every worksheet is aligned to a Next Generation Science Standards performance expectation, written for real classroom readers, and paired with a 10-question practice block plus a teacher answer key. We started SciSpark because too many "free worksheet" sites bury the actual printables behind paywalls, ad walls, or login prompts. Teachers do not have time for that.
What you get
- 216 printable worksheets across Life, Earth & Space, and Physical Science.
- Eight formats per topic — vocabulary match, fill-in-the-blank, short answer, diagram labeling, reading passage, sort-and-classify, investigation lab, and quick quiz.
- Reveal-on-click answer keys on every page for fast grading.
- NGSS alignment on every topic, so you can drop SciSpark into your existing scope and sequence.
Where the content comes from
SciSpark Sheets is built on the public NGSS topic taxonomy at nextgenscience.org/search-standards, the OpenStax K12 science scope, and the CK-12 Foundation concept library. We attempt to enrich content from CK-12's open API at api.ck12.org during seeding; if the API is unreachable, the curated taxonomy is used directly.
Free for classroom and home use
You may print, copy, and share SciSpark Sheets worksheets for any non-commercial classroom or home-school use. We do not require an account and we do not collect personal information from students.
Made for teachers, by teachers
